Dr. Beckers loves helping patients see clearly and comfortably while improving their overall quality of life. She takes the time to explain every step of care and is known for her honest, clear communication and personal attention. She has a special interest in scleral lenses and dry eye care.
Dr. Beckers earned her BSc in Biomedical Sciences (Honours) and her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Waterloo. She completed externships in Niagara Falls and Alabama and volunteered with VOSH, including a trip to Peru providing vision care to underserved communities. She is an active member of the Canadian Association of Optometrists and the Ontario Association of Optometrists.
When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll find her running, practicing hot yoga, reading, or keeping up with her two energetic young sons.
