Eye Wellness COVID-19 Safety Policy Hero

Eye Wellness COVID-19 Safety Policy

Request Appointment

In order to open again we have had to make some changes to ensure your safety and ours; such as daily pre-screening of all individuals entering the Eye Wellness premises, implementing personal protective equipment for all staff and patients, increasing social distancing measures and ensuring standard protocols for sanitation of the hands and surfaces.

Here’s an overall vision as to how your Eye Wellness journey has been planned:

Prior to your appointment, the doctor will call to update your file regarding your eye health as well as ask some screening questions that will be repeated throughout your appointment.

Since we are now booked by appointment only, when you arrive at your appointment time, the doors will be locked – please knock and we’ll let you in promptly.

It is our new protocol that all staff as well as patients must be wearing a mask while visiting Eye Wellness. If you don’t have a mask, we will provide one for you.

Maintaining a clean environment is important to us thus we have some new procedures. When entering we will give you some hand sanitizer and ask screening questions before you can proceed. It is at this point that you may realize some new plexiglass barriers and sneeze guards on the machines. Rest assured that your safety is our top priority alongside your eye care.

For your peace of mind, we assure you that there are hand sanitizers at the point of entry, our tables, pre-testing lane and the exam room. Furthermore, the furniture, surfaces, examination room and glasses are all cleaned and sanitized between every patient.

We recognize that this pandemic has brought on difficult times for many people and now more than ever your health is paramount. As a result, we will continue to provide excellent care within a safe and welcoming environment while striving to maintain our core values to care, educate, inspire, innovate and be passionate about what we do.
